The Raw Shark Texts, by Steven Hall


I picked this book up on a lark -- was recommended to me on Amazon, and looked good, so I got it. I'm really happy I did -- was a fun, smart, fast-paced book that broke me out of a slow-reading slump. Sort of Jaws meets The Matrix meets Murakami. Hard to describe beyond that -- sort of techothriller/mental games with sharks. Well, not sharks, exactly, but sorta.

Anyway, loved it.

[ps -- I've got about a dozen books I've finished over the past few months but haven't blogged, so will be putting up quite a few of these hopefully this week. A few of the books have already proven really influential in my thinking...]
