goodbye blue monday

kurt vonnegut died tonight at 84. america loses one of its best, most authentic authors — someone in the mold of mark twain and john steinbeck. the world loses a champion humanist.

he’s one of my very very favorites, one of the few authors who i’ve read every single word of, and i’ll miss his voice a lot.

so it goes.

  3. It’s sad. I love his books. The first thing I ever read was The Piano Man in 8th grade. I keep Welcome To The Monkey House close at hand for when I have a chance to do some leisure reading.
